Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we are fully licensed through the Colorado Department of Child Care, the State of Colorado, and the City of Denver.

We are an independent private early childhood preschool housed in the building.

Our classroom is a mixed-aged classroom with children ages 3-5 years old.
Children must be 3 years old by September 1 to attend.

School operates the Tuesday after Labor Day until the Friday before Memorial Day.  We follow a typical school calendar, similar to Denver Public Schools and most Private Schools in the area in regards to most Holiday and teacher in-service breaks. We are closed during the summer.

The class size is 10-12 children. There are two master teachers (Sharon and Katie) in the classroom.

All children attend class from 9:00am-2:30 p.m. on their enrolled days.

Before and after school “drop-in” care for enrolled children is offered one hour before school (8-9 a.m.) and one hour after school (2:30-3:30 p.m.) for an additional fee that is billed monthly.

There is a one-time yearly enrollment fee per child of $275 due when the enrollment contract is signed and returned, as well as a one-month tuition deposit (which is applied to invoices in the following May). Both fees are nonrefundable. In September, each family also pays a one time $300 Classroom Fund, in addition to the monthly tuition. Before and After Care fees are $18 per session.

Priority consideration for applications (if we have receipt of all three requirements: Information Session, Completed Application, and Child Video) is Friday, February 23, 2024.

After this date, applications will still be accepted. We do keep a short waitlist. Check our phone message for updates if space is available.

First priority is given to returning families, second priority to siblings, and third priority to new families. We strive to have a class balanced in regards to ages and gender. Because Inspire is a mixed-age classroom, we anticipate many spaces opening each year for new families as children move on to kindergarten.

Children bring their own lunch each day they attend. Families sign up once every four weeks to bring an afternoon snack for the class.

Inspire Preschool is not a nut-free school.

The preschool entrance door has a secured numerical keypad and a video security system.

All children must be fully vaccinated before they can attend Inspire Preschool. We do not make religious or personal exemptions.
