Inspire Preschool

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Are you a licensed preschool?

Yes, we are fully licensed through the Colorado Department of Child Care, the State of Colorado, and the City of Denver.

  2. What affiliation does the school have to the church?

We are an independent private early childhood preschool housed in the building.

  3. What are the ages of the children in the class?

Our classroom is a mixed-aged classroom with children ages 3-5 years old.
Children must be 3 years old by September 1 to attend.

  4. How many children are in the class? What is the teacher to child ratio?

The class size is 15-20 children. There are two master teachers (Sharon and Katie) in the classroom.

  5. When does the class meet?

All children attend class from 9:00am-2:30 p.m. on their enrolled days.

  6. Is there before or after care available?

Before and after school “drop-in” care for enrolled children is offered one hour before school (8-9 a.m.) and one hour after school (2:30-3:30 p.m.) for an additional fee that is billed monthly.

  7. Are there any other fees?

There is a one-time yearly enrollment fee per child of $175 due when the enrollment contract is signed and returned, as well as one-month tuition deposit (which is applied to invoices in the following May). Both fees are nonrefundable.

  8. When are applications due?

Applications are due by February 7, 2020. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a space available basis.

  9. What is your admission policy?

First priority is given to returning families, second priority to siblings, and third priority to new families. We strive to have a class balanced in regards to ages and gender. Because Inspire is a mixed-age classroom, we anticipate many spaces opening each year for new families as children move on to kindergarten.

  10. Lunch and snack policy?

Children bring their own lunch and each day they attend. Families sign up once every four weeks to bring an afternoon snack for the class.

  11. Is Inspire a nut-free school?

Inspire Preschool is not a nut-free school.

  12. Do you have a neutral clothing policy?

Yes, based on our experience and research, we have developed a neutral clothing policy and request children not wear any clothing that contains commercial characters, princesses or aggressive animals.
